Bryce Wildlife Adventure

Last month I got to go on the Panguitch 4-H field trip to the Bryce Canyon area. In a single day, we got a tour of a helicopter at the airport, visited the wildlife museum, and rode a carriage to the rim of Bryce Canyon!

Helicopter Out at Bryce Canyon Airport by Papillon Helicopters:

The first thing we did was to go out to the airport and see a helicopter. We got to sit in one of the helicopters and it was so cool. In the helicopter, there were three seats and there was a special way to make it four if you wanted to.

The two pilots that were there are both named Dan, and they taught us so much about the helicopters. One of the things they explained to us was how the helicopters fly and how they work.

Also in the helicopter, we saw all the buttons and I can tell you there were so many—honestly, it would probably take me so long to learn how all the buttons work. I’m just going to tell you that it was just really cool.

Bryce Wildlife Adventure:

Next, we went to this museum, Bryce Wildlife Adventure. It was so cool. I almost got scared because it was so real and the animals were so amazing.

The owner’s name is Robert and I’m pretty sure he’s the best you could get. He is so nice and kind. He showed us where everything was and told us so much about the history behind everything. I would definitely recommend going there someday!

Bryce Canyon Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride to the Rim:

Last, we went on a ride in the horse-drawn carriage up to a hill with an awesome view of the great Bryce Canyon. We got to have grilled hamburgers and cheeseburgers and they were so good, like probably some of the best I have ever had.

The horses were so cool and so big. I got a video of them, but the way they look in the video doesn’t even compare to how they look in real life. The carriage drivers were from Texas, and they were also super nice. The horses were very sweet too, but also terrifying at the same time just because they were so big. I would also recommend going to do the carriage ride also.
