The Byway — Your one stop for all 2023 fall season sports along the Byway, including volleyball and baseball schedules for the 5 high schools.

by Abbie Call — “Back to school” means back to fields, courts and stages for many prevention coalitions around Garfield County, but their work is only begun.

The Byway — Athletes from all five schools along the Byway represented their teams in the 2023 state track and field results for top eight places.

by Ari Hurdsman — Piute’s new cheer team is “fired up” for their 2nd year of competition. While being a cheerleader is hard work, it is also very rewarding.

by Abbie Call — The Panguitch cheerleaders don’t care too much who cheers for them, but they, like any athletes, have worked hard to “give it their all.”

by Ari Hurdsman —The All-Star basketball games commenced on March 11, 2023 in the South Sevier High School gym. Teams 1A all the way up to 3A participated.

by Hailee Eyre — The Bobcats met their ultimate goal — by trusting in one another. It was understood that the “T” in “Title” does in fact stand for: TEAM!

The Byway — The boys 1A state basketball tournament, like the girls, was held at the Sevier Valley Center March 1-4. The Panguitch and Piute boys met once again at state.

The Byway — The girls 1A state basketball tournament was held at the SVC March 1-4. The championship came down to two powerful teams: Wayne vs. Tabiona.
