The Byway — On Monday, August 8, about 50 Garfield County 6th-graders made a pitch for funding for their upcoming trip to Washington, DC.

The Byway — Escalante City held its Pioneer Day celebration on July 21-22. The annual tradition is one of the largest Pioneer Day celebrations in the region.

The Byway — The Bryce Canyon Half Marathon and 5K was held on July 15, leading runners past the hoodoos and small towns on Highway 12 for 20 years!
