Monday News Plonk: Circleville Birthday and HS Clubs at State

Good morning Byway readers! Hopefully you survived losing an hour of sleep over the weekend. Here are some significant events happening this week:

  • Monday-Wednesday, March 10-12 — State FBLA at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.
  • Friday-Saturday, March 14-15 — State FFA at Utah State University in Logan; and state speech and debate at Ogden High School. Panguitch won region debate on Saturday. Read about last year’s debate winners here.

Also coming up in the next couple of weeks are ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ March 20-22 at Bryce Valley High School, FFA donkey basketball March 25 at the Wayne High School gym, State FCCLA March 25-26 in Layton, and Circleville Town’s birthday party on March 31.

Weather: 

The National Weather Service shows mostly sunny weather today at Bryce Canyon Airport with a high near 52 degrees Fahrenheit and a low around 25 tonight.

Wednesday there is a 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. Snow is likely Thursday, with accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. The weekend is forecast to be mostly sunny with clouds at night. The weekly low is 11 degrees Friday night.
