“Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain,” swept through the halls of Panguitch High School with laughter and joy to participants and audience alike. The title song sung by Ronan Mooney kicked off the play with a start that was equal to a winning touchdown. Outstanding performances were given by Panguitch High School students bringing the theater to life with laughter and applause.
The play featured Hannah Bailey as Aunt Eller, Ronan Mooney as Curly, Camryn Houston as Laurey, Payton Stewart as Ali Hakim, Paisley Henrie as Ado Annie, Orin Hughes as Will Parker and Stratton Flake playing Jud Fry. All were amazing to watch.
Supporting cast members included Kit Weil, Sophie Fawson, Tristyn King, Ava Woodbury, Paisley Dalton, Annie Yardley, Joslyn Frandsen, Linli Hunter, Oaklee Bangerter, Ellie Sawyer, Liza Osburn, Faith Cragle, London Yardley, Charlotte Tebbs, Florence Coombs, Bailey Moseley, Chelsea Evans, Archer Ward, Bridger Stewart, Eli Peterson, Parker Henrie, Rayden Dunham and Parker Stewart.
The crew included Rylie Ward, Jennifer Bremner, Peyten Graff, and Byron Roundy.

Elaine Baldwin – Panguitch
Elaine Baldwin is an Editor/Writer for The Byway. She is the wife of Dale Baldwin, and they have three children, 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Elaine enjoys making a difference in her world. She recently retired after teaching Drama for 20 years at Panguitch High School. She loves volunteering and finds her greatest joy serving in the Cedar City Temple each Friday.
