24th of July Activities along the Byway 2024

Updated Monday, July 15, 10:26 a.m.

The Byway recently published the details for the Fourth of July activities for all of Piute, Wayne and Garfield counties on our website. This article will be similar and act like a follow-up to that one, but for the 24th of July, or Pioneer Day.

Updates to these activities can be found here throughout the month before the 24th. You may need to reload the page for updates to appear.

Piute County splits up its three big holidays (4th and 24th of July and Butch Cassidy Days) between Circleville, Marysvale and Junction. Circleville gave a great Fourth of July celebration. The biggest 24th of July celebration is in Marysvale.

Garfield County along with others in Southwestern Utah are under a stage one fire restriction, which means doing fireworks in unincorporated areas or on state lands is prohibited. Bryce Canyon City will still have fireworks by the fire departments within city limits.

Many towns have also placed fireworks restrictions. Check with local fire departments and authorities for localized information.
