Students and teachers in PHS are ready to ‘Let the adventure begin.’
A couple of days ago Panguitch High School celebrated its first day of school. The festivities began with an assembly, with an amazing performance by the cheerleaders, and an informative presentation by the student council, which introduced the new school policies with dress code and cell phones.
Student Officers for this school year are Jaren H., Rustyn T., Kenli H., Tyler C., Triston H., Thomas D., Mallory H., Paisley H.
The 152 high school students and 69 middle school students then went off to meet their teachers, while concurrent enrollment students found themselves without a class until Monday. Southwest students, on the other hand, spent their first day in the halls of a technical college, right in the middle of Cedar City Utah. Our sports teams, including Baseball (22 players), Volleyball (23 players), and Cross Country (27 runners), have also been busy, having competitions in South Sevier, Pine View, Wayne, Pinnacle, and so much more. Below are sports events this month to look forward to.

The school also announced a school media called ‘SchoolBinder.’ Parents, students and community members are all encouraged to download this app and get on any classes they have, so teachers/club leaders can get a hold of them. If anyone would like to know more about school activities, the app can be found in both android and apple phones.
