by Abbie Call — Happy birthday to The Byway! It is now a three-year-old, what one could say is an important phase in a paper’s lifetime.
The Byway — We like to give youth an opportunity to write and be read. It’s one of the coolest things we do! We love writing with, about, and to youth.
The Byway — The common ground in our heritage can unite Rural Utah in accomplishing things we wouldn’t be able to do alone.
The Byway — We believe in civil discourse at The Byway. We encourage disagreements, provided the participants have a well-researched, positive, civil argument.
The Byway — Research shows many news deserts across US rural counties. But though Southern Utah is small, we do not consider ourselves a news desert.
