The Byway — The Wayne County Midterm Election included several write-ins who received no votes. Unlike Piute, Wayne had a couple contested positions.
The Byway — The Piute County Midterm Election was fairly uneventful. The only race was for the second spot for Piute School Board.

The Byway — Election night is tense. Those counting the ballots spend hours of work, candidates are exhausted from campaigns and voters want the results.
