The decision to serve a mission was easily one of the best ones I have made in my life. It changed the course of my life and helped me grow in my knowledge and testimony of Jesus Christ. I served in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Spanish speaking.
My purpose was to share the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who would accept it. There were lots of days sweating in the heat and freezing in the cold, but it was all worth it because I felt the joy of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. I saw people’s lives change greatly by starting with one small act of faith, and as they did, mine changed as well. I learned to completely rely on the Lord and His will and plan for me.
I decided to serve a mission because I love God and I wanted to help others feel His love for them. Now that it is over, I am forever grateful for the experiences I had and the lessons I learned that have guided me in the direction I need to go.
