Monday News Plonk: Tourists and State Basketball

Good morning Byway readers! Hopefully you are enjoying the warmer weather after a short week of snow. Here are some significant events happening this week:

  • Wednesday-Saturday, February 26-March 1 — State boys and girls basketball at Richfield High School and the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield. See the state brackets here.
  • Saturday, March 1 — Bicknell Town Community Garden opens for reservations. Call Carrie Brinkerhoff at 435-491-0015 for more information.
  • Beginning of March — The early wave of tourists begins arriving at national parks.

Weather: 

The National Weather Service shows sunny weather today at Bryce Canyon Airport with a high near 58 degrees Fahrenheit and a low around 29 tonight.

Tuesday through the rest of the week is very similar weather that is sunny and clear with highs in the 50s.

  • Panguitch City Council, Tuesday, February 25 CANCELLED
  • Bicknell Town Council, Thursday, February 27, at 7:00 p.m. @ Town Hall
