Good morning, Byway readers! The February print paper should be hitting mailboxes in Piute, Wayne and Garfield counties. Here are some additional significant events happening this week:
- Monday, February 10 — Community Wellness Night at Wayne High School at 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, February 11 — Public comment period and information session on elementary school construction and expenses at WHS at 5:30 p.m. Sign up onsite 10 minutes prior to comment.
- Wednesday-Saturday, February 12-15 — Region boys and girls basketball at Panguitch High School.
- Friday, February 14 — Valentine’s Day
- Saturday-Monday, February 15-17 — Bryce Canyon Winter Festival at Ruby’s Inn.
Weather:
The National Weather Service shows mostly sunny weather today at Bryce Canyon Airport with a high near 45 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of around 19 tonight. Tuesday’s weather is a little colder, but also mostly sunny.
Wednesday after 11 a.m. through to the rest of the week there is a chance of snow. Snow is likely Thursday and Friday, and it could be heaviest Thursday night.
