The school year started off with a BANG, WAM, POW at Bryce Valley High School as the new executive council introduced their theme: Be The Hero.
This year’s theme encourages every member of the Bryce Valley High student body to be a hero through the unexpected, but just as important, small and simple actions. The council plans on making a memorable year with activities, dances, and a variety of other ideas.
The 2024-25 executive council for Bryce Valley High School is Ferrin Mathews, President; Zaren Roberts, V.P. of Activities; Mason Bybee, V.P. of Athletics; Eli Beesley, V.P. of Communications; and Kyra Brinkerhoff, V.P. of Public Relations.
The opening assembly was evidently in line with the council’s intentions, starting with a skit showing how anyone can be an everyday hero and help defeat villains like self doubt, criticism, and loneliness with inclusion and kindness.
The student body had a blast during the first of many assemblies, and so did the executive council. The council is excited to start off this new year with enthusiasm and confidence to make this year the best yet!
