Many of you know Tabetha Henrie as a star athlete that excels in volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country. While she does have many victories in sports, Tabi considers having a good family relationship her greatest achievement. She says that her family members are her best friends and they give her support in rough times.
One of Tabetha’s best role models is Danny Yardley. He has coached in sports and given great life advice. He also helped her to reach running goals in track that helped her get scholarships to Salt Lake Community College.
Tabi recently went to France. She enjoyed the historical sites of World War II, a temple, and the Louvre. Tabetha said that people in the cities of France speak fast but in the more rural areas they speak a bit slower. Tabi was able to learn French from home school, Duolingo, and her grandmother.
French is one of Tabi’s favorite classes along with entrepreneur classes. She has even started her own sourdough business where she makes sourdough bread with help from her mom and sells it. They are currently working on sourdough croissants.
This year at state track Tabi took first place in four running events and a second place in high jump.
Outside of all these activities, Tabi said that she tries to do three things: read out of the Book of Mormon every day, repent, and keep the Sabbath Day holy.
Tabetha Henrie is an amazing person on and off the court. She is smart and has good family members and friends for support. All in all, Tabi is an incredible athlete, friend, and role model.
