Some of our friends at Koosharem Elementary wrote to us about the meaning of Christmas to them. Here’s what Emmery, Porter, Hunter, Emma, Van, Lilo, Addi, Avery and Wendell said:
It’s a time to rap while you wrap presents!

Christmas of Yesterday
I long for the feelings That filled my heart and soul With the joys of living and Christmas That made my young self whole I recall the wintery nights Spent on my back under the tree Placing miniature plastic soldiers Who were battling to make and keep others free Santa usually came knocking Outside the frost covered window pane It proved to scare us silly All our energy it did drain If only I could once more Have that feeling of years bygone, I yearn for youthful innocence Are you with me, or am I alone?
